What is Escrow and Why Does It Matter?

Think of escrow as a secure digital vault. When a shipper books a load, the payment isn't sent directly to the driver. Instead, it's deposited into this vault, which is managed by our trusted third-party payment partner, TradeSafe. The funds are held there safely until the job is successfully completed.

This simple step is crucial because it protects everyone involved:

• For Shippers: You can be confident that your money is only released after your shipment has been delivered. This eliminates the risk of paying for a service that isn't completed.
• For Drivers: You can see that the funds are secured before you even start your vehicle. This removes the risk of non-payment after you've done the work, allowing you to focus on safe and timely delivery.

The LoadRunner Payment Journey

Our process is designed to be transparent and straightforward:

1. Bid Acceptance: A shipper accepts a driver's bid for a shipment.
2. Funds Secured: The shipper deposits the full payment into the secure TradeSafe escrow vault. Both parties receive a notification that the funds are secured.
3. Transport: The driver completes the pickup and transport, with the shipper able to track the journey in real-time.
4. Delivery Confirmation: Upon arrival, the shipper provides the driver with a unique Delivery PIN.
5. Payout Triggered: The driver enters the Delivery PIN into the app. This confirms the successful completion of the job and automatically triggers the release of the payment from escrow to the driver. Payouts are typically processed within 24 hours.
